Booked appointment online with Dr. Piyush Ranjan for 9-5-24 at 11.12 A.M. for Sir Gangaram Hospital by paying Rs 2000/- and arrived in time. his assistant Mr. Vikas said doctor is late today, so you wait. I asked how long, he was clueless, there is no validity of appointment time, first cum first serve, then why was I given time slot at 11.12? I was unwell and requested, take my number, I will wait and whenever possible, please call me as there was huge rush in private OPD and no seats were available. He refused to either listen, said will not call, nor he will give his number and if I can’t stand, go wherever you like. He was abusive, rude, ruthless. I had to go to DMS office to let them know, where he was called and admonished. This enraged doctor Piyush Ranjan and when I met him, he started behaving as if I am a psycho patient with reckless and useless questions like who told you to get tests done, why do you come here in anxiety. For all my explanations, he was in rapid fire extremely unprofessional, non-courteous and he said go and meet Neuro not me.
How sad, I spent 1.30 hour to drive from Noida to meet you, wait, show you report and you behave bully just like your assistant ??? this is shameful thing Doctor, I wish I could take this matter to higher authorities and escalate and make you understand that patients come with hope and belief, they may be anxious with reports in hand, you are supposed to counsel, not keep abusing by asking questions like who tells you to get these things done ?? when you write your prescription, we believe you and get those tests and medicines, same is the case with others. So, what’s your role ??? you understand and explain rationale, counsel, and guide for further management. YOU FAILED DOCTOR. Feeling let down with your attitude. Just making videos doesn’t help patients. First learn to do Man- Management. I am carrying your prescription, but will not follow you as I am extremely frustrated with my experience. Hope you don’t do this with others.
